To want to visit Orlando theme parks without kids?

Would that be odd?

I really want to go to Orlando and go do all the theme parks. Eg water parks, amusement parks, we have no kids I just thought wed have the best laugh ever!

Surely there's plenty of rides for adults?

How expensive is it when you're there? I have seen really nice hotels for under 400 euro for a week
But obviously the flights are expensive at 600 each and spending money...

There are loads of people without kids. Disney is very all ages friendly but universal is actually much better with older kids or no kids as there are a lot of coasters.

Check the price of park tickets before you leave the UK. The deals we got here were much better than those available in the US, especially on the doors. There are loads of forums and Facebook groups etc who can tell you the best park ticket deal.

I've been to Disney without kids so many times- I've just had babies and have an adults only trip booked for next year with a friend of mine!

Can't wait to take the kids but you can't beat an adults only trip as there is so much to do.

My parents are going by themselves later this year too.

Oh second the recommendation to check out The DIBB!

Dh and did a Florida holiday without kids. It was great.
It's actually a bit much for young kids. Very hot, lots of queues and sensory overload.

We went pre kids to the Disney parks in Orlando and Anaheim and also to Universal, Knots berry farm, Busch gardens etc as well as all the water parks. Have also taken DC several times. All brilliant holidays.

We've done Orlando both with and without children and honestly - it's brilliant without kids. I would do it again in a second!

I went to Disneyland in California age 21 as my mate was marrying an American and I went over to her wedding. It was only my second visit abroad, this was almost 30 years ago.

All of four of us Brit girls had hats with our names embroidered on them and we had what I still consider one of the most fun days in my life. I still remember Brad the young chap on one of the rides. We all blew him kisses and chanted his name as the cable car he was in charge of drew away. I'm still in touch with a couple of those girls, poor Brad was as red as a beetroot.

My brother and his wife go alone every year. They are grandparents. I've been with them twice and each time done 2 solid weeks of nothing but Disney. We are already looking at next year. I never thought I'd love Disney but I do even though I don't think about it from one visit to the next. It's like medicine for my troubled heart.

I do go on other holidays but they are very different to the Disney ones.

Oh and I'm a granny many times over also.
