To think the AirB&B advert does not show families in a good light?

The one where the mother says something about "we came with the intention of exploring the countryside but soon learned we are not out doorsy"

It basically shows the family "baking" in the kitchen making a hell of a mess and then the end of it really pisses me off showing the kids marching through the living room.

We stay in airb&b properties a lot and are always very conscious that we are in someone else's home. If I was a property owner, seeing an advert showing a family marching around and flinging flour around like they own the place would really put me off!!

The whole point of it is to show it as a home from home. Presumably they tidied up before they left Hmm

Agree with Agent, it should be treated like a home. Mess is fine as long as it gets cleaned up.

Most airbnbs are not people's spare rooms any more, they're dedicated holiday lets that have been added to the website by their owners/managers. Not that anyone should be needlessly destructive to a holiday let or hotel room, of course. But (if it's an entire home) it is highly unlikely to be someone's real house.

Quite a few my dd stayed in last year where ex rentals on the property market. Still get a rental income and vacant.

That's a really good idea Theresno.

That's what I thought when she told me.
