What are the best holiday options for a crippled oldie?

My poor old ma is "only" mid-70s but pretty crippled with arthritis. She is also super cultured and far more highbrow than me. She's just had to cancel a trip to various bits of southern Italy because she's too crumbly, but has made it clear she'd like to do a trip with me in the autumn. I'm happy to do this, but does anyone have suggestions for me? It needs to be somewhere with plenty of culture and history, Italy is best because then she can chat up waiters in her perfect Italian which she LOVES doing, but most of all it needs to be somewhere where she doesn't have to walk far (I.e. More than about 100m) to get to most places. She's suggested Mantua/Padua - anyone know if that's realistic?

What kind of flight length?

Pressed send too soon. Flight question was if she would consider elsewhere.
Does it need to be flat ideally or could she manage some slight inclines?

Southern Sicily is flat.
S'illot and Ca Coma in Majorca which has an amazing accessible nature reserve.
How about Como? Warm oursidr of winter months and flat in the centre.
Also Lake Maggiore and the town of Stresa and everything these is fairly going accessibility wise and it is a very interesting place to visit with an island, galleries, palace.

I reckon 3 hrs is her maximum. Maybe 4 if we were going for a fortnight.

Lake Como is nice, the food is good and you can take the ferry to the different places. Just be careful if you go to the places like Torno on the ferry as it can be difficult to do and isn't flat. You could always take the cheese jalapeño to Switzerland for the day though. Oh my God, sorry, using dictation. The train! You can take the train to Switzerland, the one that starts with C and goes all the way to Stuttgart. It used to anyway
