Horrified and a bit tearful at news from Manchester. Just awful - Targeting young people and many parents waiting to pick up their young teens. Having been one of those parents (in the past) waiting outside a concert for my DC, I feel sick at the thought of what they have experienced.
If Trump says anything self-serving about this I think I may need to kick something!

I had to turn the radio news off as the witness accounts were so upsetting, and the audio footage of everyone screaming was dreadful. If Trump tries to make capital out of this, we should immediately rescind May's foolish invite.

On a lighter note, I was recalling the #freemelania hashtag after the divorce rumour posts last night. If true, I can't imagine the horror of remaining tied to Trump for the indefinite term of his office. I know people will point to the shiny baubles and glitzy lifestyle, but to have your choices and life options unwillingly curtailed in service of another person's ambition must be dreadful.

I haven't been much on the thread, but was watching my own national news yesterday and some idiotic correspondent seemed to think that Trump was trying to get Israel and many Arab countries together against Isis and Iran. He seemed to think this was feasible and likely to happen, as well as a novel idea nobody had previously thought about.
But, and I say idiotic, because he only seemed to know about the danger of impeachment from talking to an American journalist.

So, what do you think? Can SA and Israel become allies?
