It's the most relaxing sound possible for me. I open the bedroom window wide and snuggle up in bed.
Is this a throwback from being forced to sleep in a campavan as a kid or does everyone like it?

Also, where the hell do I get a good recording?! All I've come across sound like white noise. Not the same

When it's warm and raining heavily, I imagine sitting on a veranda looking out at lush vegetation with a lovely cup of tea. The reality is so different except the tea.

It's my absolute favourite thing ever. Opened a window and made a camomile at 2am this morning, to make the most of it...

It's not quite the same when I need to do the school run in it though Shock

Oh yes! I love it. Nothing better than an absolute stinker of a day when you don't need to go out. I find the sound really relaxing, years ago we had our bedroom in the loft and the sound was amazing during a good storm.

Another hot sunny morning up in Scotland! Nice but my garden needs rain! Enjoy!

When I was on nights out, I'd listen to the rain clattering on the cab. With the night heater on, curtains drawn and a good book there's nothing like it.

I love it. There are plenty of 8 hour videos on YouTube Wink

YANBU, nighttime rain in bed, is very therapeutic

Although I love being inside and listening to it, I also love being out in it, as long as I can get home to take all my clothes off. Not quite the same if I'm going to work in it.

My kids are the same. They beg to go outside to get soaked in the garden and often roll around in the grass to get even more wet.
