And AIBU that I'm slightly excited about it!?

I pour a dash down the sink before I go to bed. Disinfects, and makes the house smell lovely in the morning.

ParadiseLaundry · 14/05/2017 22:07

You are apparently meant to use it in the fabric conditioner compartment but by itself with no fab conditioner in it, that's official Zoflora advice. I put it in with the fabric conditioner though and can't see that it does any harm. I used Hello Spring in the wash yesterday as DS puked all over my dressing gown and bed sheets and it was amazing, I wasn't keen on it before.

RightOnTheEdge · 14/05/2017 22:11

I am new to Zoflora and I always use bouquet I love it so much I can't bring myself to try another scent.
I tried it after I stumbled on a Zoflora addicts page on Facebook. There are loads of pages just dedicated to Zoflora Shock

talkingtoclarry · 14/05/2017 22:15

I sprinkled a little bit on the filter bit of my quite frankly whifforama Hetty Hoover and the house smells lovely every time I hoover the house. I love Springtime but am very excited to learn there is a Pink Grapefruit! That's on my list for this week!

expatinscotland · 14/05/2017 22:16

'I'm not sure about it. I put country garden in the washing with DH's scrubs and a lot of his patients and his nurse said he smelled like an old lady.'

Try it in the pre-wash, it will be less sent-sational Wink. I wash DH's uniform and all our sports gear in Halo Sports Wash, though and it really gets them tidy.

greenmelon · 14/05/2017 22:16

I've got the springtime one and bloody love it. Definitely trying it in the wash when I do my next load! What other scents are good? I got mine from Poundland so the range they had was limited. I'm not keen on lavender or anything too flowery, much prefer fresh or citrusy scents.

I love it! I dilute it in to a spray bottle and use it as my household cleaner aided by my trusty microfiber cloth.

I also put the plug in all my sinks and bath, a capful or two of straight zoflora and hot water. It disinfects the ceramic and stainless steel beautifully, cleans the drains and leaves a lovely aroma.

highinthesky · 14/05/2017 22:21

My interest has been piqued, I'll have to try it now! Scent recommendation for a newbie?

I have Springtime and Bouquet. Usually use Bouquet in the kitchen - diluted in a spray bottle on all surfaces and a little down the sink. A good glug in a basin of water once a week or so too.
I use Springtime in the bathroom, again diluted and sprayed on surfaces.

Always looking for recommendations of how to use - I don't find the smell lingers too much (but then I do have an underactive sense of smell)

OnTheRise · 14/05/2017 22:26

I have never used Zoflora.

I am going to buy some tomorrow. It sounds like a miracle.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 14/05/2017 22:27

I bought it today for the first time, a very small bottle of Rose. Wanted to buy a few flavours but DH did his grouchy face and questioned why I needed 2 so I'll get more soon. I do have a large selection of laundry products and am looking forward to trying this on laundry. People IRL don't know I'm such a saddo

BrigitteTrogneux64 · 14/05/2017 22:28

It's foul smelling stuff. You're all loons!

Crowdblundering · 14/05/2017 22:29

I squirt the lavender one all over my garden - it stops the cats peeing all over the patio.

Alfieisnoisy · 14/05/2017 22:30

I adore the Rose scented one

OhMyGodBecky · 14/05/2017 22:31

I've got bluebell meadow in my spare mop, and I use it to clean windows with no streaks, I love the stuff!

OhMyGodBecky · 14/05/2017 22:32

Spray* mop - I only own one, a standby doesn't seem necessary.

AddUpToNothing · 14/05/2017 22:33

I have never used it before. But after reading this thread, I'm off to B&M tomorrow to pick some up and clean my house from top to bottom.

What a great way to spend my day off Grin

wobblywonderwoman · 14/05/2017 22:33

Just used dettol lavender in my wash and its great too!!

But zoflora is lovely sprinkled on carpets - it has lingered for five days at this stage

rainbowgiraffe · 14/05/2017 22:35

I love it. At Christmas they do Christmassy smells.
I always put a bit in with my wash. Wipe the radiators with it so they smell nice when they're on.
My sons football boots were stinking so a cotton wool pad doused in zoflora went in each boot and they smell much better.
Clean the kitchen surfaces with it just for the smell! Even burn it in a burner with a candle.

CaoNiMartacus · 14/05/2017 22:37

I'm obsessed with the stuff thanks to MN! It's a happy day Chez Cao when I discover a new flavour. Right now Pink Grapefruit is flavour of the month. I've got Honeysuckle and Jasmine to try next.

RuggerHug · 14/05/2017 22:37

It is amazing stuff! Any Irish mn-ers that see this and want to try, it's sold in dealz and dunnes! Grin

metalmum15 · 14/05/2017 22:40

My favourite is pink grapefruit. The house smells delicious for hours when I've mopped the floor. I read a tip about wiping down your radiators with it, then when the heating comes on your whole house will smell lovely. Haven't tried that one yet though. I find the best selection of fragrances in B&M or Poundland.
