Im in the extremely fortunate position to have been offered a brand new house.
I'm considering saying no. To give some background, my current home needs repairs and I have noise issues with the neighbours, however my child has autism and has expressed that they cannot cope with the change and does not want to leave curent home/friends/family/school. The house is a is a distance away and I will be leaving all of my friends and family and support too, the house is in a rough area however the estate is enclosed and secure. . I'm considering saying no because of these reasons but i could use some perspective . Please advise many thanks

I think ththink school issue is key. If he can continue at his current school til the end of GCSEs then I think you should take the new house.

A lot of the new builds done by HAs have been beset by problems because of them cutting corners.

This has the same spec as the blight properties, but you never know what the house is like until you live there I guess

I probably will but my mother in law keeps putting a dampener on it haha. We need to fit our own carpets in it that's one negative

Same here cats. They are timing the kitchen and bathroom though. I still haven't fully decided, my best friend is gonna miss me an awful lot we live down road from each other currently 😕
