has decided she can only manage 8 children instead of the 11 she originally signed up
dd's nursery class arranged for 8 week session of gymnastics to promote excersize and health..we signed up there and than, gave permission slip back there and then and paid there and then!!..went last week, she loved it, other children were running back and forth to parents but dd stayed put and was so into it..teacher(not very old, just out of teens but apparently qualified) was very monotone and wasnt explaining things to children very well, so i think they were running back to parents for reassurance?..we didnt realise she was qualified?.now shes said 11 is too many, after drawing all the children in getting them hooked parents buying new clothes for it etc etc...one little boy has droppe dout till next session but myself and two other mothers(think we're more often the push overs!) are feeling pressured to leave till next time.am so , that she didnt think to organise herself better and now she wants to let down 3 3-4 year olds

On the one hand I think it's sensible (although frustrating) of her to realise her safe limits. Also, if you felt her direction was lacking as you intimated then you dd would probably fair better elsewhere anyway.

On the other hand, I would be cross if I had bought the outfits etc.

dont drop out strawberry
as your dd was into it i would leave her let the gym teather worry about over numbers

thanks, yeah i understand safety ratios but she specifically said 10-11 children knowing their age.
im not dropping out, ill be legging it round there and forcing my way through doors with dd to make sure shes in first

her lack of control and instruction was i think more of a parent observation, this class is a bit of excersize and fun for dd and TBH, it wasnt a problem for her as she listens really well and wasnt one who didnt understand(not that i would expect many 3 yr olds to pick things up after one 45 min session!)
