It is perfectly normal to miss a period.
It has happend to me a few times my doctor told me to only be concerned if i skip more than one period... or if i get any One sided pain between your hip and ribs / back pain that is severe as this can indicate an ectopic pregnancy which does not always show up on a pregnancy test. This can also indicate ovarian cysts which can affect your period.
It is perfectly normal to have a longer cycle sometimes which includes skipping one period.
Stress, Diet changes , Hormones such as pegesterone or your thyroid, Feeling unwell and even your enviroment can change / affect your cycle.
If you are going to take a test : test first thing in the morning and dont drink to much fluids before hand. I have always found clear blue digital to work best and i have been advised that it is just as good as one given by your doctor (Not includeing a blood test).
I am in shock that you would think that you cannot get pregnant from what is effectivly a pull out method. Why even waste your money on condoms because effectively that is what you are doing.
Put a condom on before any action or find yourself a better contraceptive!
Periods can be funny after birth control . Sometimes your body takes a while to get back to normal.
If you are worried a quick phonecall to your GP wouldnt do any harm. Sometimes they just dont appear. It is frustrating i know that more than anyone and you worry all the time.
Oh FYI the only reason i know this is because i have been TTC for years and im used to my period being annoying.
user1495444352 White discharge often means that you are ovulateing Through your cycle discharge should be clear and towards the end of your fertile period it should get thicker and whiter so you could be at the end of ovulation... possibly you ovulated a bit late and at 6 days ago your body would have about another week untill your period. This can also mean that you have thrush...(this would be itchy/painfull) or if it has a fishy smell can indicate bacterial vagenosis. If you are worried boots have testing kits to identify thrush and BV. If the discharge continues longer then see a GP or your local family planning clinic for a range of STI checks . If it has only come and went i wouldnt worry so much you could just have a cycle that has delayed by a week or so.
I hope this is of help. Please remember your better safe than sorry so if you dont feel right or are very worried speak to a member of the health service.
