I lost my heart to him (in a maternal way of course) watching him walk behind his mother's coffin. Just saw this link today and I may have shed a tear or two...

Prince Harry reunited with Wellchild boy Ollie Carroll

Both photos of him with little Ollie are very touching. I hope he gets a chance to be a Dad.

SafeWord · 07/05/2017 00:49

I like Harry too. He seems more human than the rest.

kmc1111 · 07/05/2017 06:48

He got his mothers people skills. Now if he could just get a little of her work ethic...

Pigface1 · 07/05/2017 06:53

He's so handsome!!

blueskyinmarch · 07/05/2017 07:09

That picture made me cry! It is very touching. The way he is looking at that wee boy.

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/05/2017 07:14

He seems so down to earth. Just lovely.

NotYoda · 07/05/2017 07:21

I think that he and his brother seem like really nice, funny men

It's a lovely photo

PosiePootlePerkins · 07/05/2017 07:26

Did anyone watch the documentary about his work in Africa? Really made me feel respect towards him and I'm not a Royals fan at all. I think he does genuinely care, I liked the bit when he said he used his position to make things happen, I think he's got his head screwed on the right way.

MommaGee · 07/05/2017 10:04

Now if he could just get a little of her work ethic... yeah instead of running off to join for the army for a quiet life... Hmm

MatildaTheCat · 07/05/2017 10:10

IT is a sweet picture but this morning he's pictured in the paper frolicking on the polo pitch so not quite as down to earth as all that.

But yes, he's the perfect 'spare' and can pick and choose because he's Royal.

ohfourfoxache · 07/05/2017 10:20

Love him. Absolutely love him. What a kind thing to do, and it really doesn't seem like obligation- it seems like he genuinely cares.

LaurieMarlow · 07/05/2017 10:23

He appears to have some good qualities. But I don't think he's a total saint either.

It seems there's a lot of his mum in him.

He's a credit go his mum but I like William too he just had to be more careful. Thry seem so close as brothers too that's really lovely

LadyPW · 07/05/2017 10:48

He has no job, barely does any charitable events but everyone fawns over him because he's royal Hmm
Yes he's good at connecting with people, but I'd have some respect if he actually put some effort into life. And don't get me started on his brother & his sister in law...

I think he's less "events" and more behind the scenes. Just because he's not photographed shaking the hands of commoners doesn't mean he's not doing anything. Take the Invictus Games for example, a lot of what he did there wasn't publicised or used as a photo op.

MommaGee · 07/05/2017 11:21

He also did a decade in the army with two tours of Afghanistan. Invicitus Games. Conservation work in Africa. Relief work in Nepal. Royal engagements. I'm not saying he wouldn't work harder if he trained as a nurse or a teacher but he's hardly Beatrice

JakeBallardswife · 07/05/2017 11:25

I think he's pretty cool, what Momma Gee said. Also, he and his brothers stance on Mental Health is groundbreaking. Think they're fab and also human!

NorthernLurker · 07/05/2017 11:47

Meghan was at the polo. I'm hoping they crack on and announce an engagement. November wedding on the queen and Prince Philips 60th anniversary. Baby by next autumn. Grin

MommaGee · 07/05/2017 12:06

Twins for good measure

NorthernLurker · 07/05/2017 12:17

Twins would be epic! Grin

MommaGee · 07/05/2017 12:44

One of each? One to learn Polo, one to become an equestrian like Aunt Zara

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 07/05/2017 13:04

I love the judgy judgyness of some posters on these threads: "frolicking on the polo pitch" indeed! As if all these MNetters spend fifteen ours a day seven days a week engaged in honest toil and virtuous charity work and are never seen shopping, having a coffee, watching TV, idling on the internet...

So, LadyPW, how does your CV measure up to two tours in Afghanistan, founding two charities, setting up the Invictus Games, and supporting 22 charities and 25 causes? We're all ears...

HandbagCrazy · 07/05/2017 13:16

Oh dear, I have something in my eye reading that

I like the royals, and Harry is by far my favourite. As PP said, all the PR training in the world isn't going to help you be that kind and patient with people.
