To let my 3 year old watch 2 hours of my little pony

I also have a 5 month old who refuses to sleep today and as a result is grumpy and clingy.
I can only give my 3 year old a little bit of my attention as a result & I feel guilty, we have a big garden and it's a sunny day but she refuses to go out without me.
It's so frustrating, and the guilt and cabin fever is totally shit. No car today either.

Yep been there, Have had mastitis and my two year old has been quite happy watching paw patrol.
Long as it's not all day everyday, can not see why It would hurt.

My 3 year old has watched a lot of telly today. He was throwing up yesterday morning and is still tired and grouchy today so it was easier to plonk him in front of Peppa/Noddy/Thomas than deal with his constant strops because eg I had put his toy car down in the wrong place! Yanbu, sometimes needs must!

I'm recovering from an operation at the moment and 3yo dd has watched a lot of TV mainly cbeebies. About 4 hours yesterday. It does make her grumpy and want more TV but I kept her busy for the other 9 hours of the day! I can't take her out so it was a long day. My main worry is breaking the habit once I'm better!

You do what you have to do!

My elder two watched the Lego movie twice back to back one day while I vomited almost continuously. There was no other way

It's only wrong if you don't sing along too all the MLP songs whilst you're watching! Grin
