To get my daughter looked at by another gp?

My dd who is 3.10 has been getting pain in her calf/feet at night time for quite a while now, I have recently realised that wearing socks at night relives this as it doesn't happen when she does, but if she doesn't wear any socks she will wake up will pain one night it was 6 times in 1 night.
I took her to the gp last week and he checked the pluses in her feet they were fine so he said it couldn't be a circulation problem and that was it basically said if socks help to keep wearing them at night and sent me on my way with no other explanation? Should I go back and see someone else or will they just tell me the same thing? Have any of you experienced this with there child? She is currently awaiting assessment for ADHD/autism and I know there can be a lot of comorbid things that go along side them diagnosis didn't know it is being caused by something I should be looking into or not. There is a high connection between hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and autism.

I have EDS and spent many years having growing pains and random pains, so it might be worth a google just in case you recognise any of the symptoms as fitting her. That's not to say it's the full-blown syndrome, but worth being aware.

Not everything has a medical cause or explanation. If the socks fix it and any serious problems have been ruled out, then I don't see why you'd want to pursue it further?

Sorry to add to the armchair diagnoses, but I think it's worth having her feet and gait looked at too, by a podiatrist (NHS). DS1 pronates, and insoles fixed this

Glitters have you got any links please. DD has hypermobiloty and we think she has ASD.

I think things do have a cause, we just might not be able to work out what it is!

But getting a second opinion ism't that much of a thing to do if you are worried.

It might be psychosomatic.

I would second looking at hypermobility. Both my daughters have e ehlers danlos syndrome, and one has manageable sensory issues. Lots of needing a routine, needing comfortable clothing. She's 19 and at university, so not a huge issue. Foot and calf pain was and is always a problem for both of them. Good luck x x

Could she have short tendons in her feet? I do and get a similar pain sometimes ( more when I was a child) , does she walk with one or both of her feet slightly strangely angled? Maybe go to a foot doc x
