Think iklboo is saying that she and her friends would take it in turns to go to each others houses and one friend would always get in tuna pizza that tasted like cat food and put on a Dirty Dancing video

Haggisfish · 01/05/2017 00:11

Gu gung!

ChameleonCircuit · 01/05/2017 00:27

I used to piss off the Swayze fans in high school by calling this "She's Got The Wind". Immature? Moi?

Iflyaway · 01/05/2017 00:32

Love the film Ghost! (Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore).

Garlicansapphire · 01/05/2017 00:32

No never. Cheesy for me. He's a bit slimey.

Sparklingbrook · 01/05/2017 00:34

Doesn't float my boat. And he walked funny all through the film.

Plus he isn't Rob Lowe.

exWifebeginsat40 · 01/05/2017 00:35

haggisfish haha!!

MuffinMaiden · 01/05/2017 00:41

I love the film, used to watch it all the time with friends, but we never found him attractive and we always called him "greasy Swayze" Grin

Seren85 · 01/05/2017 00:41

Ah I love PS, especially in this film. It's still the go to dvd whenever my sister and I get together for drinks and we went to see it on a cinema screen on valentines day. It's just....argh! Can't define it but yes a certain amount of erm clenching. Mine and my sisters love for PS/Johnny is shared by our Mum too so it's a bit weird to think we're all sitting there experiencing that!

toffeeboffin · 01/05/2017 01:43

He's hot as.

Love the scene where they're dancing and you can see all the muscles in his back and shoulders moving.

DPotter · 01/05/2017 01:46

Never did it for me, the film nor Patrick

steff13 · 01/05/2017 01:52

Loved him, and To Wong Foo is also a great film, Patrick Swayze in drag is lovely!

John Leguizamo was a smoking hot woman, IMO.

Dirty Dancing will always remind me of my childhood.

QuestionableMouse · 01/05/2017 01:56

I can't watch Dirty Dancing now without noticing his willy saying hello in a certain scene. It's put me right off.

disastrouslee · 01/05/2017 02:07

I love him.

Rainbunny · 01/05/2017 02:10

I know what you mean OP. PS is not my type but that movie was sexy (and 10 year old me remembers this movie as an intense introduction to romantic feelings!) I think it was the clear chemistry that PS and JG had, they both inhabited their roles very believably.

SparklyFairyDust · 01/05/2017 03:19

I feel I'm the odd one out, I've never had you're initial query Grin at anything.

peachgreen · 01/05/2017 11:36

I never found him attractive but the chemistry between him and Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Properly hot.

BastardGoDarkly · 01/05/2017 11:40

Nah, he's not my type, and the films one big cheesefest.

Uma Thurman in kill bill however Hmm

Doobius · 01/05/2017 11:42

I love 'Johnny' so much

AnyFucker · 01/05/2017 11:45

Leaves me cold, as does the film. Have never understood the gushing that goes on about him or the thinly-disguised coercive age gap "relationship" in the movie.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 01/05/2017 11:50

He is hot! Always loved Swayze.

On a side note, I was extolling the virtues of Colin Firth in a wet shirt last night, leading DH to rename him Colin Filth...Grin

AnyFucker · 01/05/2017 11:53

Now if we are talking 80/90's movie hotties I give you Keanu Reeves in Speed

TheElephantofSurprise · 01/05/2017 11:57

No. Watched but it didn't work for me. Kept thinking 'but that's abusive'. Too much social conditioning in the intervening years.

bertsdinner · 01/05/2017 12:06

I enjoyed the film but Pat Swaz never did it for me. I did find him vaguely attractive in Point Break.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 01/05/2017 12:06

which bit is the willie hello? I am sooo not going to watch the whole movie looking for it Grin
