I know I'm BU really and I'm fully prepared for you all to tell me to shut up and enjoy myself but...
DS is 3 and has never stayed overnight at anyone's house without us before (...yes, i know! 
).
My DH and I have been invited to a meal with 2 other couples tomorrow evening which I'm really looking forward to. DH's parents have offered to have DS for us overnight so we can both have a few drinks and a lay in on sunday (OMG!!!! So excited!).
I'm just a little nervous about it...i guess it's because it's the first time. And if he woke up we wouldn't be there. All very silly i know.
Just after some reassurance that I'm not bat shit crazy to not be counting down the minutes until we drop him off (...i am a bit).
