Talk to me... do you have a cleaner or are you a cleaner

I'm thinking of starting cleaning self employed part time. What do I need to know?
Have you got a cleaner, how much pay and what services do you expect?
Are you a cleaner? Do I need specialist insurances? Any info would be appreciated

Our cleaner does three hours a week. She does three bathrooms, dusts and vacuums and washes floors throughout although she often does more than that (her choice!) When we go away I give her different tasks the second week (so cleaning oven, windows, fridge, etc) as I don't think it's fair for her to lose out just because we're away. We really just need some help keeping on top of things. She's amazing and works really hard.

We provide all cleaning materials - she just tells us what she's running out of. Can't help you with pay ideas as we're not in the UK. We'll give her a pay rise after a year though.

Good luck OP!

We have a cleaner. She charges £15 p/h and she's incredible. I'd like her to live with us, to be honest.

In three hours a week she does more than DH or I could; the dog loves her, she's trustworthy, reliable and honest to a fault. Don't sell yourself short, OP, decent cleaners are like gold dust.
