Last night DH didn't want me to watch telly in bed because he wouldn't be able to read with the telly on. (Yes, you're being unreasonable, I can hear you all shout - but wait! There's more). Last week I didn't want DH to read in bed because I wanted to turn the light out and go to sleep and he got made a huge fuss!

So...not reasonable to expect him to be able to read with the telly on in the background but perfectly ok to excpect me to able to go to sleep with the light on????

Hi,
I don't think you are unreasonable either. I watch TV at night because Im a total insomniac. Yes I read but how many hours can you read at a go? I get fed up! LOL So TV on but low. Light off so hubby can sleep. We used to row....don't you know husbands are always right?! LOL Well he thinks he is, but after 20 years we have a compromise...we do it my way! ROFL!

Good luck.

Fiona

He needs a Kindle, you need headphones to listen to TV on. Solved 😄

We do this in our house, works just fine
