I just don't get it. I enjoy reading and sometimes contributing, but honestly that is stalking and girding the loins for a throwback on a thread.

I have never done it. I mean that honestly. Why would I?

Yeah like bunny killer sooty. The funny thing about her is that despite her multiple bannings she will still have people swearing blind she is a poor ickle victim.

Thanks Win!

Hopefully it now says I joined in 2014! Easter Grin

Op. reading your posts you seem rather put out by this, which is weird to be so emotionally invested in something you've never done or had done to you, so why does it bother you so much?

Oh and I've done it a few times and will continue to do so as and when I please..and if it fancy mentioning the results, I shall. I don't like it when people start threads basically telling everyone what they should or should not do on s public forum, as your posts degenerated to...so I guess we both have to deal with something we don't like...only difference is I'm not going to start a thread about my pet dislike. Hmm

I don't think people who don't spot an obvious troll are "thick" but I do often find myself mouth agape at how gullible people can be. Just totally lacking in discernment.

Whereismumhiding2 · 23/04/2017 09:31

Thanks folks, i now know how to AS, the reasons you might AS and that they're might occasionally be strange fetishers misusing MN Shock
(Now if only there was a '10 obvious signs of a troll' list... )

I only read this thread as was curious why OP had posted that question. So/he doesn't say tho..

You need to set your profile to public, then your username becomes clickable like mine.

Down at the bottom of the profile page there's a drop-down box that says 'Should we make your page visible to other Mumsnetters?' and you need to click the 'Yes - make it visible to all Mumsnetters'

Make sure you've clicked the 'Don't show' drop down box on other things you don't want made public (e.g number of children) and then press the Save button.

EvilDoctorBallerinaDuck · 23/04/2017 21:48

Thanks Win! Hopefully I've done it now!
