to prioritise clean bathroom over ironed sheets?

Not got long so will keep as brief as poss. Much loved friends coming to stay tonight at fairly short notice for 2 days. What with domestic emergencies, f/t work and unexpected pressures due to bloody election being called I have 1 hour left before they arrive. I've changed the bed ready but clean sheet seems a bit crumpled. AIBU to prioritise cleaning the bathroom and cooking a nice meal over taking the sodding thing off and ironing it?

I honestly wouldn't give a shit or even notice to be honest, if the bedsheets were creased. I would notice and hate it if the bathroom was dirty. And I would absolutely appreciate the meal and you putting us up

I always iron sheets. Have never done them in situ but have friends that do - in order to make sure you don't get the creases from folding!

Don't bother ironing them just as long as they are clean. Bathroom hygiene is far more important. You work full time which means you have to prioritise chores at home.

jellyshoes, Luckily I don't think anyone's noticed yet 'cause we keep getting good reviews . Fitted sheets are stretched pretty tight over a mattress, so any creases are flattened by that, I reckon.

My mum irons sheets and I do love staying at hers for that and the cooking...having said that I have not ironed a sheet since I started changing my own bed...life is too short!!
