AIBU to remind everyone to make sure they are registered to vote?

Please go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to make sure you are registered and can vote on the 8th of June.

This is especially important if you are an overseas voter because declarations only last 12 months, so even if you have previously registered you may not be any longer.

Because the election is so soon, there isn't a lot of time to waste.

But what happens if you don't like any of the parties? When I do vote it's quite often a case of eeny-meeny-miny-mo.

I was abroad and the postal votes didn't arrive in time Wh0Kn0ws. I also felt that I was ok to leave the decision to people still living in the UK.

metalmum15 I understand that none of the parties will be a perfect fit. Voting for someone always requires a degree of compromise, but surely you must see some as less bad than others? Have a read of the party manifestos when they are released to see who best approximates your views.

alteredimages I didn't say it wasn't a reason not to vote, I'm just saying this one, above all others, is not "too important to miss".
