I keep hearing people say this and it really annoys me! This is not Half term. This is the Eater holidays.

I made a mistake ok?!!!

I'm sorry!

I said it once in a conversation a week or so ago by accident. I didn't expect you to bring it up again. Can't we just move on? Is this going to follow me around for the rest of my life?

Easter holidays, Eater holidays, School holidays - any of those are fine.

HRHTiggyD as you realise your mistake I forgive you Smile

Can't say it bothers me. DSDs school doesn't have three terms any more, they have six shorter terms. Which means that every break is the end of a term, so no half terms at all. Doesn't mean I'm never going to call them half term!

No kids and not religious so we just call it a bank holiday. Really annoys me when people call it half term, as if the world revolvs around kids. ... just kidding. I couldn't care less! Enjoy day 2 everyone!

Bloody annoys me. It's not half term. Why have people started calling it half term.

lostatsea1 · 15/04/2017 07:44

I know it's appalling - I need to sit and fret about it for hours.....stops me thinking about things that actually matter. Hmm

Haven't heard about the six term thing before, that hasn't made it to this part of the country. Unless that's covered in one of the many ParentMails that I haven't read yet!
