I've just spent 45 minutes cleaning off poo from DS1's walls. It's all over his sheets too 👍🏻
He's now in his second bath of the day, whilst me and DH contemplate the meaning of life, and how it got to a stage that cleaning poo off the walls, didn't mean it had been a terrible day Hmm
DS2 is in his playpen, oblivious to how much of a filthy animal his older brother is 💖

DD is asleep in the pram.

DS is picking up gravel and putting it in the bottom of the pram Confused

I'm enjoying a quick mnet and the sunshine.

WhooooAmI24601 · 14/04/2017 15:14

I've made hot cross buns today (soaked the dried fruit in Cointreau before so they taste super-boozy, DH is questioning if I need to put alcohol into everything this Easter. The answer is - unequivocally - yes.) The biggest DC is ill on the sofa, the smallest DC is dressed as Spock and demanding I address him as "Spock, darling" for the day. DH has lazed about, made a mess in the kitchen, refused to walk the dog and is now arguing with "Spock" that he cannot wear his costume to the fancy place we're going to supper this evening. Spock diagrees and is shouting at DH "you are not the Captain, therefore your rules do not apply". DH's head will combust shortly if I don't get off MN and intervene.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 14/04/2017 15:14

Very quiet day here.

DH and ds1 are working.
Ds2 is squirrelled away in his room on his computer.
Ds3 has gone to the match with his mates.

I braved Asda earlier, it was heaving! Shock but I had to get stuff for tea so I'll start cooking soon to make chicken and leek pie.

limon · 14/04/2017 15:16

Dh has taken dd out so I've done housework, been to sainsbury for brunch and am now watching judge rinder. It's the only "day off" I'll get in the next week as we will be away at mils all week.

RJnomore1 · 14/04/2017 15:19

Oh let the child go as Spock.

Or even better send him toe for the night. We would have a ball.

Birdandsparrow · 14/04/2017 15:19

We are at the beach (live abroad) for the weekend. Currently watching tv, will walk along the prom later.

esiotrot2015 · 14/04/2017 15:24

user7298922193 · 14/04/2017 15:25

bibbitybobbityyhat · 14/04/2017 15:27

Yanbu

shesnotme · 14/04/2017 15:28

My dd1 used to smear poo on the patio doors if given half a chance. dirtbag

I'm having a pj day so far managed to do sweet FA. 🤗

Sirzy · 14/04/2017 15:28

I hope Spock enjoys his meal

Crunchymum · 14/04/2017 15:29

OP - ring Bugaboo and get them to replace chassis.

Mine was purchased in 2012 and I've had the chassis replaced 3 times. Last time it was just out of warranty but they did it any way.

ChangedUsername123 · 14/04/2017 15:32

CrunchyMum i've tried that, sadly I let it slip that DS was 3, and they figured he was like 3kg over the weight limit 😩
It's not all bad though, someone wants to buy the whole kit for £400, so I guess they can get the chassis repaired and it covers the cost of the new pram haha

Eww poor you OP!

I'm just sat, trying to get the energy up to bike to the shop. Have had a busy day today with my friend and her two DC round to play with DD. DD is now at a neighbour's house (I think), OH is fixing/messing about with his motorbike, the cat is lounging around somewhere.

deadringer · 14/04/2017 15:57

Sitting in pjs with the kids watching tv and eating chocolate

TheMasterNotMargarita · 14/04/2017 16:08

Eating, resting and catching up with my rubbish TV. Rhoc and Mummy Diaries.
DS hasn't slept well for the last few weeks and last night was tough so I'm tired.
DH dealt with the kids all day whilst I had a nice long bath and fed DS as required.
He's away for his shift, DD has training in a bit. We're eating pie before we go.
It's the laziest we've been for ages.

melonribena · 14/04/2017 16:23

Having a lazy day after a very busy week.
Ds1 and dp are watching tv after dp made us all homemade pizzas, I'm cuddling ds2 while he naps.
We also had a trip to the ice cream van!

silkpyjamasallday · 14/04/2017 16:25

DP has arranged for my mum to have dd this evening so we can go out for a meal. Which would be lovely had I not done my back in again 2 days ago (reoccurring bulging disc in lower back) and have to walk around bent almost double, can't pick up dd and am not supposed to sit on advice of the physio. I don't really want to go out for a meal, I'd rather he take dd to my mum and I can stay in and rest my back!

LoveMyLittleSuperhero · 14/04/2017 17:51

Cakes I got her to nap in the end thankyou!

Changed I can imagine my dp being exactly the same in that situation, he almost was sick himself the first time dd posseted on his face 😷

shesnotme · 14/04/2017 18:16

I am in the bath now.

skerrywind · 14/04/2017 18:22

Nice thead.

No work today, so gym this morning, quick lunch, then out shopping with OH and DD, she had an appointment at opticians.
Just eaten chicken curry the chocolate ice cream. Settling down soon to watch Fantastic Beasts.

CakesAreBiscuitsToo · 14/04/2017 18:24

fuckoffdailysnail · 14/04/2017 19:03

I love these threads!
DH is at work today so I took the DDs to the park where we met my friend and her DD this morning. Came home and did massive online Asda shop to be delivered in the morning. Took the DDs to the bakery to get sausage rolls and cakes for lunch. Came home and ate lunch while watching aladdin. Been watching films all afternoon in our pjs. DD1 is asleep, DD2 is falling asleep. DH will home around 7.30 at which point I will open the wine and make fajitas for tea Grin

User4637384885 · 14/04/2017 19:06

I'm sitting on the sofa watching Emmerdale and eating macaroni cheese. Lovely!

MimsyFluff · 15/04/2017 14:13

Having a quick break before picking up dog poop, hanging more clothes out, mowing the lawn, washing up, fitting a new carpet in DD1's room and making dinner. All this while watching 3DC ages 3-8, 3 Ddog's and saying hello to new neighbours they are in the garden and I don't have time to chat so hopefully they go in
