Pink and blue kinder eggs? When the fuck did that happen?

Cos apparently you can now get Barbies in the pink ones and proper toys in the blue ones (come on, no-one honestly thinks that Barbie counts as proper toys, surely?). When did this happen? I coped with them no longer having serious cogs and wheels for H&S reasons but who the fuck thought that genderising them was the way forward?

Stupid bastards.

When we were kids I liked mostly girly stuff (not dolls as they creeped me out) and my sister would only have action man, robots, army stuff 'boys toys'. Noone batted an eyelid and she always got blue or red trousers and spacemen outfits.

So although a Barbie would have pissed me off, i'd've loved getting a pink fluffy kitty in a kinder egg and she would have loved getting a soldier. Vice versa and mum would have had ww3 on her hands.

If a girl wants pink stuff let her, just as if a boy wants it, do what? It's not going to turn her into a bimbo.

Nowadays I'd rather have a tool kit than a handbag. She'd still prefer a robot though (and action man still sits on her desk).

They do still do ordinary ones in conjunction with the awful pink/blue variety. Not all shops stock both but you can usually find them somewhere.

I think they're great. MY DD gets the blue ones and knows she's not going to end up with some "girly" shit.

Kinder chocolate is gorgeous by the way. Food of the Gods.

I think Tesco still do the white ones. It's been a while since I bought one.

I don't see the problem tbh.
My dd would have chosen the blue one when she was young and her friend would definitely have liked a barbie or a particularly girly toy.
You choose the one you want.
