To have been up all night worrying about DS

I've had about half an hours sleep last night. Had a really intense feeling yesterday evening that something bad was going to happen to my son who's 10 weeks old. So I just sat watching him all night to make sure he didn't stop breathing. Anytime I did drift off for a few minutes I woke up and started to panic, couldn't breathe, heart pounding and tingly hands.

This is the 3rd time in 2 weeks I've had a night like this, I've never really been an anxious person before, don't know if this is something that happens to alot of people

Thanks so much for all the replies, it's reassuring that other people have felt the same as me but at the same time horrible that so many people have gone through it.

Support wise I live with my parents, I'm supposed to be going with my boyfriend and DS to his mum's an hours drive away for a big family celebration, so I think I'll get bf to drive, have him do any feeds etc when we're there and we'll leave early.

I have a video baby monitor but not a breathing/sleep monitor so think I might invest in one to put my mind at ease.

I'll make a GP appointment tomorrow because I really don't want to keep getting worse! After he was born I was extremely down and GP prescribed mild antidepressants so the low moods been a bit better but now been replaced by this. On a normal night i get a good sleep as DS only wakes up once overnight. I dont eat alot because I just dont feel hungry, I know this isnt healthy though

Honestly a Snuza Go is amazing as it isn't as fix mat type monitor, baby can wear it literally wherever you go, it's a godsend Smile
