I really don't think that meeting with China went very well at all. Trump was noticeably less gushing in his assertion of best bud status than he usually is (even after the German meeting, which was pretty aweful he was going on and on about what a great meeting it was), the news from China basically accused him of reckless willy waving over Syria if I remember correctly, and now this business with North Korea.

Add to that picking fights with Russia (genuine or not) and you have someone throwing a lot of stones about right now. Scary stuff.

The problem is that all this Willy waving has a risk of going very wrong. Even if he is fully embedded in Putin's pocket and this as all 'for show', Putin has a fairly big ego. It could so easily blow up.
