It's clear Trump and associates have close business ties with Russia. The main question is whether they colluded to make Hillary collide with voters, i.e. lose the election.
And whether their current actions are unbiased and independent, or not so much.

Yes that's the key. We all know Trump and Co have massive links to Russia. We also know Russia interfered with the election. That's now a given fact.

It's whether the FBI can find and connect the dots.

I suspect this latest arrest (which, according to the BBC happened on Friday) may potentially expose links if there are any.

I'd imagine extradition proceedings are already underway
