MIL had DS (16 months)for the day yesterday cos she's not seen him for a while.
While he was there she made him his lunch of scrambled eggs with cheese and........

A FECKING CHEAPO SAUSAGE ROLL cut up on the side
FOUR Fruit Shrewsbury biscuits
A small bag of Milky Way buttons!

Well, thanks to folks here on this thread, I'm now feeling quite ill and indeed may vomit at any moment. After reading it, I just had to go and eat a tin of condensed milk. Bleeeughh!!!!!

Treats off Grandma every 3 weeks is fine.

My great gran is called sadie. Every time we drive past where she lives dd will ask for granny..this moved on to "granny sadie" & I was thinking I had a child genius on my hands...

turns out he was saying "granny, sweeties"

sounds like a typical granny to me, my mum came to visit us a few months back and bought my dd's a huge bag of maltesers each. I told her they could only have two each for a treat, they were given two the bags put away and dh and I ate them when she had gone home

try putting condensed milk in a closed tin in boiling water, boil it for two hours keep topping the water up, it is gorgeous soft caramel toffee ummm. I kid myself its healthy because I put it in prunes they are lovely sticky squashy prunes here though

that's what grannies do ruin their grandchildren, my ds calls my mum grannycake however, he also calls her granny ironing so I'm not complaining - she's a love my granny use to let me eat all sorts of things when I was at her house when I was young too.
