What would they be and why?

How do you think the changes would impact your life?

More time.
More time to do the things in the day I need to do
More time to sleep at night
More time on this Earth
Just lots and lots more time

CoraPirbright · 30/03/2017 08:39

What I ought to ask for :

  • World peace
  • For someone to discover perfectly clean, endlessly renewable free energy that the entire world can merrily use
  • cure for cancer

If I am feeling selfish:
Excellent health for me and all my family
Lots of money
To be constantly a smidge under 10 stone no matter what I eat.

JaneEyre70 · 30/03/2017 08:44

  1. I'd want my son to be alive. I miss him with every breath. For him to get a chance at life. Be the best person he could be. To watch him grow, laugh, hug the very life out of him. That would be one heck of a wish wouldn't it Smile

I don't need any more wishes, I'd pass them on to someone else to enjoy. Any takers??

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 30/03/2017 08:50

That no-one had to experience the loss of a child

Peace and cooperation worldwide

Actually that's it. The second one would solve so much - war, famine, economic injustice, even major medical breakthroughs...

gabsdot · 30/03/2017 08:54

I wish I was slim and healthy and enjoyed exercise
I wish my son didn't stammer
I wish my house was totally clean and in excellent repair and decoration and stayed that way.

fortheloveofcats · 30/03/2017 08:59
  1. To be healthy
I have a chronic health condition and can't find anybody to treat it. I'm only 23 but I feel like I'm 80.
  1. Be able to talk to animals.
You never said it had to be realistic, and this has been my lifelong dream. Seriously.
  1. Money.
Enough to pay off my debts and live comfortably.
Sodomeyes · 30/03/2017 09:04

(i) I wish I had £12 million

(ii) I wish me and DP live a long, healthy life

(iii) I wish all the animal suffering in the world would end

tinyterrors · 30/03/2017 09:30
  1. That there were enough jobs for everyone, with decent hours and pay enough to comfortably support a family.

  2. That there was a cure for cancer so I could have my mum back.

  3. That I could eat whatever I want and still be a healthy weight.

deblet · 30/03/2017 09:33

1 To wish my son was still with us.
2 To wish religion did not exist.
3 To wish an equable climate for the whole world.

Mulberry72 · 30/03/2017 09:40
  1. For my Mum to still be alive
  2. To have all my health issues resolved so that I can go back to work.
  3. For the rest of my family to be healthy and well for the rest of their lives.

Health is priceless.

LouBlue1507 · 30/03/2017 09:42

  1. Family, friends and I to live long, happy, healthy lives.
  1. Lots of money!
  1. Being able to be slim forever without exercise and being able to eat what I want!

Completely selfish I know Grin

CosyCoupe88 · 30/03/2017 09:44

dd would be cured from her health problems and never suffer depression again. Ever.

Brexit would suddenly unravel and the EU would forgive us and take us back into the fold

Donald Trump would come a cropper before he gets us all blown up

5BlueHydrangea · 31/03/2017 00:50
  1. For my dh to be cured of ME/CFS and back to how he was 6 years ago.
  2. For us to have another baby (ideally the baby would have been created 6 years ago when we started trying but now would be good if number 1 happens)
  3. For my Mum to not have any dementia and be back to herself - and stop it from happening at all!
HerRoyalNotness · 31/03/2017 02:31

That DD1 was with us still, a happy, curious 2yo now, and would grow up with her NB sister, DD2, and their older DBs

That DS1 would be less anxious and angry and enjoy life more and have happiness every day

That we could achieve our dreams and wishes without me having to go back to work. Alas there is always a choice, time poor and money, or time rich and less money

I wish I could have foreseen my future when I was a teenager.
