My nephew is a lovely smiley happy baby (7mo), but is not particularly 'cute'... my sister is very sensitive about it, but I am convinced he will get cuter as he gets older.

Do you know babies that have grown into their looks with age?

My DD was not a cute baby at all. She was the fattest baby I'd ever seen. She had rolls and rolls of fat on her and a squashed up face which was not at all cute, plus she had barely any hair which just added to the lack of cuteness.

She morphed into a really pretty toddler (if I say so myself) and lost all the fat as soon as she stopped bf. She also grew hair which helped matters. Grin

Yes looking back at ds1 photos he was really ugly. Think mole crossed with an old man. I thought he was beautiful. He has since grown and is nearly 4 and is rather quite handsome and gets some lovely comments. Most babies come out looking a bit scrawny or like an old person. Thet just need to fill in to their skin

I was very unfortunate all through childhood teens and way into adulthood. Its only in my 30s. I grew into myself and became stunning better looking.
My dd wasn't cute as a newborn, but. I don't think any new born babies are cute. I find them boring and demanding.
I like them when they get to about 2, and they're developing their own little personalities, and. When they start taking. OMG. I could eat them.
My did is 18 and I could still put her on a butty. Grin
