To think my H is an arse for drawing

...on my kids' faces with pen?

Moustaches and beards, I just came in to. Writing pen - not biro, but one of those fine liners. It was a bugger to get off, and is still faintly there.

Apparently it was fun. Do I need to get a sense of humour?

Yes - get a sense of humour!

Mind you, I once positively encouraged mine to draw all over each other with a variety of felt tips.

All came off in the bath, except the black which was still there 2 weeks later!

flipflap75 · 27/03/2017 20:45

Fair enough...long day at work.

I told them I wouldn't have minded if they'd used my (cheapo) makeup. I didn't go nuts or anything - just came in and thought pen? On faces? Why??

Daughter's moustache is ringmaster-esque so ok, but son's is very Hitler. H reckons it'll be gone by the morning.

H (attempted) to clean it off, not me!

FumBluff1 · 27/03/2017 20:46

I'd be livid

OneSecondAfter · 27/03/2017 20:50

He even cleaned it off afterward! So no big deal.

flipflap75 · 27/03/2017 20:54

No big deal for sure...was just interested to hear whether the majority thought it was an arse thing to do or a funny thing.

Pebble what's wrong with children "getting muddy at an adventure in the local park"?

FeckinCrutches · 27/03/2017 20:58

I write Mam and Dad on my kids knuckles and draw sailors anchors on their arms Blush

Fl0ellafunbags · 27/03/2017 20:59

Pebble is your husband Captain Von Trapp? Getting minging is what children live for.

upperlimit · 27/03/2017 21:01

He can't go in with a Hitler tash..You need to get out the pens again and fashion it into a beard.

nbee84 · 27/03/2017 21:02

My dh pinned me down once and got our 3yo to draw on my face with her blue felt tips. It was very funny and they took pictures too. I had blue pores the next day Grin

roarityroar · 27/03/2017 21:03

That's hilarious

Allthebestnamesareused · 27/03/2017 21:04

Baby wipes are your friend! GrinGrin

RoboticSealpup · 27/03/2017 21:04

I think that's pretty dumb.
But I'm the resident killjoy in this family

Sandsnake · 27/03/2017 21:05

Ha - Floella - I was just about to ask the same!

podrig · 27/03/2017 21:05

Lol! Yes VU Grin

Sent my 8 year old dd to school with a moustache twice now after she's Drawn them on and not been ably to get them off.
Then there was the green chicken pox drawn all over her legs.
Currently sporting a blue hand.
And once when she painted her face it came off but made her face look bruised and got a few questions about that one!

It's all fun when they are little.

flipflap75 · 27/03/2017 21:08

Baby wipes didn't cut it...Adolf remains. Think I'm going to have to go with upperlimit's suggestion.

Aromat What kind of office do you work in? I have never heard of anywhere that would allow that kind of thing. Sounds fun though

SoFedUpwithItAllNow · 27/03/2017 21:13

flipflap75 get your H to do it! He is the one responsible

PoorYorick · 27/03/2017 21:13

I use eyeliner, comes off easily.

Notso · 27/03/2017 21:14

I iron pyjamas and draw on my children.
DS2 once drew a bushy monobrow on himself that was there for about 4 days.

NeverTwerkNaked · 27/03/2017 21:26

I haven't drawn on my children myself but have roared with laughter when they have drawn whiskers etc on each other Grin

GreenPeppers · 27/03/2017 21:38

I don't have an issue with writing on youR dcs face with a pen that cleans easily. Not my thing but I can understand having fun in such a stupid way

Otherwise I think it's crap. I mean try and put yourself in the shoes of the child. That needs to have that area cleaned and scrubbed for a long time because said pen doesn't go away.
Does it really still sounds like fun? I know I wouldn't like it.

Also, is it her DH that is going to explain to the teacher that HE draw on his face? Is it him that is going to clan their face up tomorrow am when it won't be gone? Is it him too that will deal with potential uneasiness from the dcs because other children will have laugh at them for having a moustache drawn on their face?
