"celebs" could try spending time with their dc's.
I mean if Britany spent some time with hers. I bet they would get her feeling better in no time. Same with Jade,
Or is that too easy?

robby hasn't come out so it's only speculation and opinion that says he's gay.

he might be, he might not be, but what does it really matter anyway.

raz30 · 07/03/2007 16:19

i saw him snogging another bloke in a club about 10 years ago

zippitippitoes · 07/03/2007 16:29

according to mn it is common for women friends to snog each pother does the same not apply to blokes?

does it matter? except to his bank balance?

raz30 · 07/03/2007 16:51

no way, blokes do not snog each other unless they are gay

nightowl · 07/03/2007 16:52

dont know about jade but i actually feel sorry for britney.

her husband was an absolute shit to her.

everyone begged her to leave him for years.

she eventually did, she fell apart and now the vultures rip her to shreds.

he wants custody and funnily enough there are no stories about him at present.

people have short memories.

zippitippitoes · 07/03/2007 16:53

is this a major difference between men and women then?

if women can snog and not be gay why can't men?

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2007 16:58

I read somewhere that Robbie's latest breakdown is over an ex-girlfriend who did a 'kiss and tell' interview and revealed some private stuff about him that proved he was 'screwed up', apparently he twitches in his sleep, no wonder after 36 espressos, surprised he can sleep!

duchesse · 07/03/2007 17:01

Anybody who has suffered post natal depression and even people who haven't will recognise the signs in Britney Spears. Spending time with her children will not improve that.

I try to ignore the other person mentioned as much as possible, so have no comment to make about her.

nightowl · 07/03/2007 17:17

its hard enough to drag yourself out of depression..and thats when the world arent talking about you and putting you down. celebs like britney dont stand a chance really.

BassMama · 08/03/2007 01:58

I am actually almost reduced to tears reading that people think things like this about other people, celebrity or not.

When you are depressed, it is very easy to become addicted to drugs and alcohol. This then fuels your depression, so you take more drugs or drink more to feel better.. and it is a horrible, vicious circle.

To say that spending time with your children is some kind of 'cure' for depression is horrid.
To suggest that not wanting to spend time with your shildren when you are in the pit of depression is disgusting, totally ignorant and very very upsetting.
The reality is, that when in this situation, you do not want to do anything. You do not want to spend time with yourself.

To say that severely depressed people should spend time with their children rather than go to rehab is a totally unaducated thing to suggest.

Rehab is a end-of-the-line decision for any person - celebrity or not, and can totally change peoples lives.

Surely it is better that a mother takes 2 or 3 montsh out of their life to go to rehab and get well, rather than years and years with her children around, continuing to be depressed?

Lovecat · 08/03/2007 09:21

I agree completely, BM, but in the case of Ms. Goody, I don't believe she is depressed. Desperately trying to claw back whatever remains of her pathetic 'career', yes. Depressed? Not a bit.

As I posted earlier, I feel deeply sorry for Britney Spears and hope she can find the help she seems to be needing.

zippitippitoes · 08/03/2007 09:38

no one can look on and decide whether someone has any kind of mental health problems

I'm astonished that people can say of anyone let alone someone they don't know they are not depressed
