To think my job interview outfit is a bit rubbish

I'm a size 12 but I have large hips and find trousers don't suit me.

I have a really nice black dress which I wear for job interviews. It looks great in the summer with nude tights and black heels.

My problem is, this isn't formal enough for a winter job interview as unless it's a very hot day, nude tights/bare arms and legs would not be considered formal enough.

Black tights look good but then don't match black heels and matched with a black blazer I'm too black!!!

I may be overanalysing but I feel I'm giving a poor first impression. What can I do to improve this?

It's for a professional role. A suit would be expected really.

It sounds nice altogether but it reality I feel it just doesn't work.

I don't want a pic of myself on here but I am fairly slim and tall.

Black and any blue looks great in the board room. I work with CEOs and many will wear navy and black or bright blues or even baby blues with black. Trick is in the accessories.

Black dress, black blazer, nude tights and your black shoes. It will look good.

Nude tights and a coloured jumper under the jacket?

I wore black heels with flowers with little bits like the ribbons coming off the bottom of a rosette for my job interview (and got the job).

I think I'd want some colour in what I wore: but I do now wear brightly coloured clothes in a job where everyone else seems to wear monochrome/muted colours.

Tend to tone it down for interviews though. The shoes above were my most sensible pair...

Thing is everyone wears black! Add some colour and stand out!

Bright pink necklace
Baby blue jacket
Red belt
Nude tights and nude shoes

(Not all at once!)

If you don't feel confident - you won't look it!

A bright piece of clothing or jewellery always helps you to stand out in the memory of interviewers.
