To have two teeth out a week before being a bridesmaid??

I need my front wisdom tooth out and the one in front of that.
They are really painful! Booked in for Monday 3rd, bridesmaid at a wedding on the 9th.
I thought nothing of it but my mum says I'll have a black eye for the wedding and I need to rebook!

What do you think??

Does the bride have a make up artist booked? The one my sister used had special spray foundation as one of her bridesmaids was self conscious about her birthmark.

Plus photos can be taken carefully at the right angle if you are concerned, or even photoshopped if need be.

Being a bridesmaid is already a pain in the ass, don't have a sore tooth as well!

Top ones aren't half as much of an issue to have out as bottom ones. I'd say check how long to get a new appointment before cancelling. I had top one out with local and it was no worse than having another molar out. Couple of days with paracetamol and no outward puffiness or bruising.

If the bride thinks that much of you she'd be mortified if you're in pain just because of her wedding! If I was the bride I'd want you to be comfortable and pain free.

This, definitely. I'd want everyone to enjoy the day, not grimace through tooth pain! I really wouldn't reschedule, just give the bride a head's up.

And definitely don't use a straw post extraction.

I didn't even realise you could get a black eye from getting a tooth out!

I had a wisdom tooth out. Needed pain killers the next day but it really wasn't awful.

I think the thing is you never know what's going to happen so it's best to clear your diary for a week or two.
