To want to lose my belly but keep my boobs and bum?

Is this even possible?

I used to be size 6, but even then had a wobbly belly. Both before and after dcs.

I recently gained about a stone due to a change in medication, now a size 10 and my boobs and bum have filled out in a nice way, but my belly is ultra wobbly!

It's not bloating from the inside. It's the outer layer. When I lose weight the belly is always the last to go.

I know you can't spot reduce with exercise alone, but seriously, there must be something I can do/eat or stop doing/stop eating that will curb the belly but leave the T&A in place?? Envy

You will only shrink your belly by dieting/losing weight. Working your ab muscles can give you great definition but you'll only see it if you lose the flab on top.
Lots of exercises you can do to build up your glutes. Running, squats, lunges (especially with weights). I have a naturally flat bum but I have managed to transform it to a pert pair of peaches with exercise.
Same not true of boobs. Pec exercises can firm up but otherwise get a gel bra - they are fantastic and even jiggle "naturally". I recommend the ones from Max Cleavage.

Avoid carbs but at night. Carbs are a great source of energy and restricting them without a medical reason can backfire. Brown bread, wholewheat pasta, sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa and of course porridge are lovely and will keep you full for long.

I achieved this once for about 2 months

Low carbing and 30 day shred- follow it religiously

I went form 9st 2 to 7st 10 in 10 weeks I'm 5ft 2 had an arse like Kylie and a 30FF chest.

I looked bloody awesome BUT I could not keep it up as I'm a lazy arse
But the only answer is exercise and v eating healthily.

Watch " that sugar film" its free on YouTube . By eating the same amount of calories and doing the same amount of exercise but by adding in sugar to his diet ( he had been sugar free) he gained 10 lbs in 6 weeks , most of it around his belly . The documentary showed how sugar is stored as belly fat , I can't remember the full explanation.
I was inspired for a few weeks but the suger crept back in.

There is a link between apple shapes and large waists/big bellies and insulin resistance leading potentially to diabetes. So a low/no sugar diet is the way to go. I have PCOS which is related to all of these things so try to eat a sugar free diet most of the time including lactose (so no dairy) and it really does work for me.

I do pilates 2 - 3 times a week and my belly is not flat, but my core muscles are strong.

If you are going to do the plank please get someone to watch you doing it. Otherwise you will hurt your back, you have to do it properly. And don't hold for too long, doing these month challenges. 30 seconds is sufficient, much longer than that and you will lose your form (and risk injury).

I've been paying a PT for about 6 months and it's been a very good investment. But anyone can tell you if you back is straight. Side planks are good as well.

Oh yes I am an apple shape too but I also read that you only need to worry if, when you lie down, your stomach does not go flat. If it doesn't, there is too much fat around it, but if it disappears you're ok.

No idea if it's true!

But you can't change an apple into a pear (and to be honest I don't want huge hips). If I lose weight, I lose it everywhere so I never have the proper waist to hip ratio. But my overall weight is fine, I am a size 8 and I am fit so my general risks of getting heart disease and diabetes are low, despite being an apple. All you can do is work with what you have.

Mine goes concave when I lay down, but no matter how skinny i am when I stand up I still have a slight belly (Although my Pilates has reduced it loads) I blame the bastard c section

Just do muscle building exercises. Chest lifts, squats, deadlifts.

Give up alcohol entirely for 3 months I did and it changed my shape hugely. I ate normally and swam a couple of times a week. I now have a small glass of wine (175ml) 3 times a week and have kept it off.

Side planking helped me (must get back to it as have a beach holiday in 3 weeks timeShock.

Cutting out sugar and alcohol for a period flattened my stomach a lot. Sadly gained it mostly back by eating too many nuts.

80% nutrition and 20% exercise.

Don't cut out entire macronutrient groups. That's chronic and a sure fire way for you to end up yo-yo dieting. Make healthy clean good choices.

Weight lift.
