To ask if you fantasise about ESCAPE?

How often do you imagine just running away? You know, abandoning your family, kids, all anxieties, guilt, responsibilities... And if you do, where do you imagine going? My top 3 fantasies are:

1. becoming a Buddhist nun (Tibetan mountains maybe).
2. becoming a hermit on Orkney.
3. running off to Barbados with Hugh Jackman.

We live in Alaska and I love it here but I do dream about Running back to Russia, where I lived for a lot of years and owning a smallholding in some remote spot or other. I do also dream about having a fwb arrangement with a world leader (Not Donald Trump needless to say!!!) I have a list of candidates which very depending on my mood . They would be infatuated with me and would helicopter in to my smallholding at my beck and call

DS would be with me though.

I constantly dream of a Cadfael-esque herb garden in splendid medieval grounds or running off to a remote Provençal farm cottage where my only worries were my own terrible French grammar and wild boar marauding through my grove at night, however there is no way I would maintain sobriety in the latter and as for the former it would have to be a convent and I am quite scared of nuns.

Lou, I'd just like a friend with a helicopter. A world leader might be reluctant to loan it out. Understandably.

Goldfish very true, but my world leader would adore me so much he would give me the moon on a stick, and lots of helicopters if I wanted them . We would also have a baby together so that DS could have a sibling. He would need to really be magic to accomplish that though as I've had a hysterectomy!

my fantasies revolve around what I will do to the garden once the DCs have flown the nest. No more trampoline! No footballs in the hedges! no Nerf bullets in the flowerbed...

Oh so really you want a world leader, your own helicopter and a lot of sex and another child.

All the time! We go on holiday to the same place every year (yes, I know! Italians are creatures of habit). It is next to a convent. I used to fantasise about leaving the children behind and banging on the door and asking for sanctuary. I would be bored within a week though.

In my fantasy I live in a beach hut on koh samui. No kids/DP/EXH to bother me. Plaitting my chin hair and putting pretty beads in it. Making macramé wall hangings for the tourists to buy, and not having to worry about shaving my leg hair anymore!!! (But it's only doable if there is a decent supply of tena lady. Those bloody kids have ruined my pelvic floor!)

Goldfish what can I say? I'm a lady of simple tastes . I could even compromise on the world leader front and have Johnny Depp or Sean Bean instead, I'm not above making sacrifices y'know
