Am going to the doctor next week but have freaked myself out basically that I have ovarian cancer.
For the last two or three months I have been having to go to the loo constantly - think getting up three times a night, and in the day, hourly. I pretty much always need to go. No pain or burning so I don't think it's a UTI.
I know you shouldn't google this stuff but I have and it keeps coming back to this being a symptom of ovarian cancer. The only other condition I can find this being a symptom of is a UTI and I'm certain it's not that.
Obviously I will have to wait to see the doctor, but in the meantime, can anyone share stories of having the same symptoms and a more mundane diagnosis?
thanks.

Could be due to be a slight prolapse. Gives similar symptoms. G P will be able to tell.

Weakened pelvic floor muscles let bowel, bladder and womb move south and result in a dragging feeling and extra pressure. It's very common after children if muscles are weak. Especially 40+ years.
Did you have big babies?

UTI, IC, diabetes, overactive bladder. Could be a number of things.

mmm, not drinking in the day might be making your pee too s trong, so it irritates your urethra, constantly making you feel like you need to go? Second the suggestion of drinking more water to see if that helps.

Yes, they were all big babies 8lb plus and VDs. Maybe it's that. Oh I feel much calmer now that I know there are so many other possibilities, some of them not the best but nothing as awful as OC!
I am definitely going to get better at drinking during the day.

I and my friends have started the Peri Menopause at your age.

An 'irritated' bladder is common. Myself and a few of my group are on medication, which helps, but gives you a dry mouth.

You may be sent to the Incontinence clinic.
