I'm so upset, posting here for traffic
I've got vets in an hour
My rabbit is 6, she's had dental problems all her life, regular general anaesthetics and burring, she's always bounced back
3 weeks ago she had a dental, the vet said she had lost 1/4 of her weight, she seemed to be doing ok, trying to fatten her up
But she just looks so sad, chewing with nothing in her mouth, shutting her eyes, and she has snuffle she keeps sneezing she just looks so uncomfortable
I don't know what to do, should I keep trying, but I hate seeing her in pain
She's not eating today, I don't want to say goodbye to her but I don't want to prolong her suffering

Sorry to hear you have lost your dear bunny. You know you did the right thing caring for her right to the end and gave her a great life. This is a very sad day for you. Take comfort that you looked after her well and you will miss her a little less each day. Flowers

Thank you every one, it was so difficult but I know I have done the right thing, I couldn't put her through any more procedures and pain,
It's so sad to loose any pet, she was such a great rabbit, she lived a very happy (spoilt!) life
I'm going to have a canvas made of all her photos to remember her by, she will always be in my heart

I'm really sorry you've lost your bunny, well done for being brave enough to do the right thing. Bunnies are such great pets and it sounds like you gave her a wonderful life.

We cried when we had our pet rats PTS. One was very ill and the other would have moped without him. They were old, but it didnt make it any better Flowers

Flowers hope you're doing ok op, it's so horrible to have a pet pts, even when we know it's what's best for them.
I agree with pps, there's no such thing as 'just' when it comes to pets, they're members of the family wether they're cats, dogs, rabbits, or stick insects.

Kerala ours too at six. We found him with his chin on his paws. Like he was sleeping. The house is so empty without him and I worry that I missed something. Hope you are ok OP.
