Reverse threads

I keep seeing threads with cries of 'reverse!' All over the shop (including one of mine under a NC!).

However, I have never actually SEEN a reverse thread. Many a spoof, yes, but never a reverse. Ever. In approximately 7 years of dipping in ans out of MN.

Is it a myth or are they a thing?

The op on the hamper thread admits it's a reverse.

It must be me... I quite like a reverse, and don't care about a TAAT either. (although they're MN toxic). Zombie threads, however, give me the rage.... How does that even happen???

Oh thanks redbull Smile

I love a reverse: more drama Grin

I'm always coming across zombie threads when googling and then I open it as I think it will have relevant information, leave it open go back and think ooo I want to add to that - I've never been brave enough to bring back a zombie thread but some of them are really interesting.

But the ones that get started again with advise to the actual OP about their DC who is now an adult with their own family make me laugh my head off, especially when others get super cross at someone for starting it

Love it Grin

There was one relatively recently where the OP was posting as the overbearing MIL. Not quite as weird as the one that got deleted this week, the "give me MY baby" one, but similar.

They all fall down at some point because it's impossible to know someone's justification for the act/discussion or whatever unless you are that person. So say it's a MIL one, they'll post "I simply don't like my daughter in law, she has never given me any reason to dislike her but I can't stand to be around her, and for that reason I am nothing more than polite to her whenever she visits with my son and grandchild. She calls this rudeness but I don't see why I should have to be nice to the hussy that stole my baby away" It doesn't make sense and the poster projects their own feelings onto it.

There was a child minder one a few weeks ago that was actually written by the mother ( or was it the other way round....?). It was quickly spotted as a reverse, and the op owned up.
