Christ. I actually counted tonight. I got to 96 seconds. On the phone I was whispering the numbers...1 add 2 add 3

"What was that?"

"Nothing....Hmm"

I have 3 DC who do this too. Even better is:

Me: what would you like for breakfast?

DD: yeah.

Me: what would you like for breakfast?

DD: yeah.

Me: what would you like for breakfast?

DD: coco pops.

Yeah, that's along the lines of

Me: do you want toast or cereal?
Kids: (gawping at TV/tablet/book)
Me: toast or cereal?
Kids: (gawping)
Me: TOAST OR CEREAL??!!??
Kids:do we have any croissants?

OH also ignores unless I use his name.

Oh mine does this, I'm not a patient person and it pisses me off no end.

I often ask him a question, bugger off to make a cup of tea. Even then he's still mulling it over. Drives me mad.
