another mother and baby space issue

Can't decide on this one...
yesterday supermarket m&b spaces full - had to wait. As I walked in and on the way out too, saw two spaces being used by someone a bit older than me with a elderly, obviously quite frail lady. No disabled badge in the car but they had the spaces right near the door. Felt peeved because it was raining and the space I'd waited for was right at the end and ds got wet in the sprint to the door, but then wasn't sure if I was right to be peed off.

i think thats ok, its not like it was a healthy 19 year old ignorant student - the old lady obviously needed to be close to the shop

she needed to be close to the doors - agree with kitty.

Agree with Kittylette, but then again there are plenty of disabled places that would have been more appropriate.

Oh my goodness. I would have kicked her legs out from underneath her and then chucked a bucket of water on her so she would "feel the rain". What a liberty taker. Report her to the police.

That came from my mother GS- when I being PFB about ds1 and some rain "oh for gods sake he won't rust it's only a little bit of water".

Last day yesterday winestein- I am going to write a covering letter this weekend (I'll send it to you).....then........ fingers crossed. I need to find out the maximum distance you are expected to walk before getting higher rate mobility though.

OK! Liked the rain comment . You're right. I waited for a space because it was raining and I really struggle to get car seat out of normal size spaces. Just needed some perspective I s'pose!

Leave the car seat behind, take a blanket and use one of the trolleys with a reclining seat- most places have them now, with a blanket they're fine for a little one.

I usually park far away from the store. That way often you dont have anyone next to you. It's a sad world when we criticise a frail elderly lady for parking in a parent and child space so she doesnt have to walk so far.
