Of the inside of a Pepper!
It's the seeds!! They look like little clumps of insect eggs. Plus, I cut one open today and a mini baby pepper was inside...BOAK! Envy(Not envy!)

I can't stand polystyrene, so if anything comes in a box I have to go out the room whilst it's removed. Something about sponges too make my teeth feel funny. Just got a cold shiver down my spine. Yuk 😧

I was looking at a random IG account ages ago, she does autopsies and histology/pathology.

I don't get the people who are like 'Oh I YouTube spots and cysts!' Just why?!? I can deal with my own grimness and the kids/DH's but definitely not watching it for fun.

My brother had picked a spot in the car and come round for tissue with it hanging out of his face. Dirty fucker. But anyone in the household I'm fine.

Sammysquiz · 22/02/2017 09:56

My DH is a hospital consultant, spends his days in theatre seeing blood, gore, pus, horrendous injuries and diseases etc etc, and he's not in the slightest bit squeamish about anything he's seen at work.

However, he cannot bear to see the stringy stuff surrounding seeds in a melon!

FatCatFaces · 22/02/2017 10:27

I'm fine with peppers. Not a fan of dry cotton wool and certain noises push me over the edge (other people food chewing, my husband's hands when they creak on the steering wheel). I was on a train in Japan recently and someone was holding onto one of those dangling strap handrails (you know what I mean). The train was rocking and this plastic strap was creaking against the painted pole. My teeth were practically on fire and if I'd been alone I would've got off. Thinking about it now makes me shudder.

I'm also freaked out by big ships. I don't come across them in day to day life but the thought of being next to a really big ship makes me uncomfortable. Same for driving next to big lorries.

The lotus seed head pictures are gross but I think it's because they look like some sort of bug burrow.

Thoughts of certain bodily procedures make me feel faint. Vaginal tears, catheter insertion, anything to do with bellybuttons. Also very uncomfortable with blood tests but not remotely bothered by injections.

fatcatfaces I'm with you on the bodily proceedures.....

I've had tomatoes that sprouted from within themselves, really yeuky.

Me too! Can't stand to touch dry sponge, have toilet rolls brush against each other or brush against newsprint. I used to be worse as a child - couldn't touch velvet, paint we used in school etc.

Feels like nails down blackboard! Just thinking about it does it.

PageStillNotFound404 · 22/02/2017 20:43

BraCrumble I'm the same with dry sponge and rubbing toilet rolls, and I never used to be able to touch velvet either!

MN gave me a form of trypophobia as well but, weirdly, only for the fake stuff. There used to be a TV advert for some sensitive skin product - think it was Sanex? - that started with what appeared to be a close up of open pores but it always looked slightly 'wrong' and then it panned out until you could see it was made up of dozens of naked people. I hated the beginning of it. Oddly I'm okay with crumpets or seed pods or honeycomb or anything that actually should look like that naturally, but the fake or abnormal stuff - like that photo of Boosh's - makes me feel sick.

I'm another one who hates Cheese Hands and does the holding-by-the-packet thing.
