Walk into a room pick up a baby that was not theirs and change its bum and clothes when they had been done within about 10 mins and genuinely did not need doing.

Every single time you came into contact with the same baby?

I had no interest in other peoples babies until I got pregnant, then thought 'fuck I really need to learn NOW'. Luckily my friend had just had one and I borrowed him regularly on the pretext of 'helping'

Not the first niece/nephew but I have the closest relationship with my sister out of all my siblings and I see he the most all the others are hours away so I only get to see them occasionally

Yes it was sad.
Cases like that always are.
People think that SS cases are always about wicked parents, gross neglect, cruelty or conversely that if some parents were just helped a bit more they could be good parents.

Unfortunately some parents are just not able (sometimes at that point or sometimes ever) to look after their children. She couldn't move on with her child. If you showed her how to change a baby she would be able to do it after two months of demonstrations but she wouldnt' be able to adapt the skill of changing a newborn to changing a mobile baby.
She could change a baby's clothes but she didn't know when or why.

The baby is a massive nearly 14 year old now
