Cherrysoup · 16/02/2017 21:36

Boxes of Merlot available at Morrisons, so I'm told, £12 for 3 bottles' worth. Not bad. Wine Wine Wine

Gingermuffin · 16/02/2017 21:36

Enjoy your wine and appreciate your own awesomeness at having things under control most of the time and getting through the day.

I would try to start an argument to help you out but I'm shit at starting conflict I've only ever been any good at responding to it Grin

NotInMyBackYard1 · 16/02/2017 21:36

Grin glad to hear it isn't just this household. Am glugging some disgustingly sickly sweet rosé - it will have to do.

Mum2jenny · 16/02/2017 21:39

My wine has just run out unfortunately.

MOIST · 16/02/2017 21:40

I am not under control. Not under the surface. I am falling apart and stuff is getting out of control a bit.

My DSis is asleep (maybe due to wine) after our lengthy conversation tonight about 'taking the edge off parenting'.

And I have NT kids, I still occasionally have a glass of wetherspoon rose at 9am (I figure I'll be absolutely sober by 3pm). My DSis has way more going on.

I finallt understanf my DM and her nip of whisky in her orange juice before she started dinner. There's no judging here!

elfycat · 16/02/2017 21:41

Sorry. Having my own personal drunk thread. Time to sleep...

MOIST · 16/02/2017 21:44

If there was ever a place left, this is it.

Can't really make you feel any better op but I have autism.

And eventually even I managed to slightly understand how much of a shit I was during the teenage years Grin

Fantastic relationship with Mum now though.

HashiAsLarry · 16/02/2017 21:57
Flowers

you deserve all the Wine and the Gin. Not least because of the shitty day but for the phrase a bit like being slapped with a piranha

NotInMyBackYard1 · 16/02/2017 21:57

I copped on to my neighbours ogling us as we left the house this afternoon, with me screeching at my kids -
"put your wellies on"
"no not your sister's wellies, your own wellies"
"no not on your hands, on your feet"
"no don't open the gate and let your 2yr old brother run down the drive"
"no please don't throw your sister's coat over the gate so she can't reach it"
"no don't shove your sister into the wall"
The joys of trying to leave the house. I contemplated going back in for the wine there and then.

Butteredpars1ps · 16/02/2017 22:00

Wine and Flowers sorry that today was shit. You are allowed to be honest here. So feel free to post about your amazing Daughter and your appalling day. No judgement.

kiwimumof2boys · 16/02/2017 22:02

Gin Sympathy OP.
I have an ASD DS and just had a phone call from another mum in his class - there was a pool/lifesaving trip yesterday she helped out on (I wanted to help but couldn't get off work sigh) apparently DS was quite stressed out (I was expecting that) then couldn't find his shorts so was running around with no pants on. He's nearly 9. Gonna have to have a "chat" with him tonight. Argh will need wine for that . .

MOIST · 16/02/2017 22:02

Trains are foul too. Grubby and packed.
