. I don't want to chat about work whilst plopping in the toilet. I would never follow someone in the toilet to carry on a conversation

I went for a wee lunchtime and two colleagues were chatting in the washbasin area - and stayed there chatting while I tried to wee. I just couldn't so it so had to pretend to blow my nose instead.

NineUnlikelyTales · 28/02/2007 15:46

Imagine if you had started the conversation and then a horrid smell started to waft over....how mortifying

MrsSpoon · 28/02/2007 15:48

Having suffered from IBS at one point during my working career holding in 'till home wasn't an option.

ThisFrogIsGonnaWhoopYouAss · 28/02/2007 15:50

Nine - you have me crying with laughter at that post!

LowFatMilkshake · 28/02/2007 15:51

If forgoing a 'movement' is not possible you could always put loo roll in the bowl first to mask the plops

dionnelorraine · 28/02/2007 16:03

Me too! even at home! My dh goes mad at the amount of loo roll I use.
"Its for my make up honey, honest!"
lol

pishwasher · 28/02/2007 16:05

mildmanneredjanitor - why is there a picture of a toilet on your profile?

Piffle · 28/02/2007 16:23

I won't even communicate with any of my family unless it's to tell them to piss off if I'm going for a no 2
It's private!!!
With the exception of very young children ie: under 3's ONLY and only MY under 3's

emmatomATO · 28/02/2007 16:29

OOOh, I have a poo story but really don't know whether to spill or not. It's disgusting and I'm not proud. No, I'm going to leave it I reckon!
