Just this!

OP posts:

When at the hairdressers my DD2 collected up the hair that had been cut from my DD1 head so she could keep it in case she died.

Gape1211a · 13/02/2017 20:08

After watching Woman in Black. A few weeks later I heard my DD through the monitor say hello. I went in and asked her who are you saying hello too?

She replied the lady in the corner and pointed. Needless to say I didn't sleep a lot that night.

ChrisYoungFuckingRocks · 13/02/2017 20:09

When my DTs were 3, DD1 had a little girl called Emily who used to sleep under her bed, and come downstairs for mealtimes. Then suddenly Emily didn't have meals with us any more, and when I asked DD1 why not, she said it's because Emily had the measles, and wasn't feeling well. After that Emily just disappeared.

DD1 was also terrified of her bedroom for months, because of the 'black thing' in the corner of the ceiling.

I am a medium, and I completely believe that children see spirits, before 'society' tells them it's weird, or they simply stop believing because life takes over and they're not so open minded any more.

A few months ago, we were driving past big old stone villas in a town we'd never been in before. My DS, 3 chirps up excitedly "oh my friend died in that house! He was killed in there a long time ago". Not knowing what to say, I said that was sad, and he said "don't worry Mummy, it was a long time ago and we were big adults then".

Fairybella · 13/02/2017 20:49

My dd used to see a "bad lady"... she was 2/3... used to run out the room screaming and shaking... once I took photos of her to see big red orbs around the room. My cousin gave her a special stone/crystal to help the spirit or something. One day dd said "bad lady better now" never again was there a problem. She also has a ghost friend!

mummyB1 · 13/02/2017 20:49

My dd said to me after I'd told her off see when your asleep mummy I'm going to put spiders in your mouth

Yeah didn't sleep much that night

Eclecticmama · 13/02/2017 20:53

Love this thread! Can't wait for my DD to start talking

Bipbopbee · 13/02/2017 20:54

DS aged 3 at the time was playing with his toys, he turned to me and said " Mummy, there's a little boy here called Sam. His mummy killed him in the tummy with a knife. "
Freaked me right out at the time.
He can't remember saying it now. Confused

Callaird · 13/02/2017 21:03

Not my child but my dad's godson, aged 3, I was looking after him every afternoon for a few hours and I'd regularly take him for a walk, one day took a different route and walked passed a cemetery, he said 'That's where I'm buried' quickly took him home and avoided the cemetery for a few weeks, he then started nursery and I picked him and walked him home every evening and had to pass the cemetery or walk an extra 30 minutes, every day he said That's where I'm buried'. One day my dad came with me to pick him up and he said to the boy, 'show us where you are buried' so he did, he walked straight to a grave and said he was run over by a milk float (it was 35 years ago when floats were more common!) we laughed and told him there were no milk floats in 1858 but he was adamant, told me every time we walked passed the cemetery so I went to the library, the man in the grave was trampled to death by a horse......................that was pulling the milk churns. I stopped looking after him soon after that!!

Oludeniz · 13/02/2017 21:04

I was at my sisters house with her and nephew, he was about 3. We were playing and I asked him to come and sit next to me and patted the sofa. He pointed to the sofa and said,"ask the man to move up then."

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 13/02/2017 21:18

DH used to see an imaginary creature called Mr Crow when he was a preschooler. It was a tall "man" with bird legs, a suit jacket, and a crow head. It would stand behind the door when he went to leave rooms and cock its head and smile at him. If he had to go to the loo upstairs on his own it would always be stood on the landing, waiting, and then starting to walk after him......

I am 37 and Mr Crow still creeps me out!

frauleinsallybowles · 13/02/2017 21:26

why do i always read these threads i end up lights all on creeped out

SuperFlyHigh · 13/02/2017 21:26

Caillard those sort of stories REALLY creep me out!

Doesn't help up until last week I spent 2 months where the bus would have to go past a cemetery. Hate to say it but those places creep me right out.

AllFurCoatNoKnickera · 13/02/2017 21:29

DS isn't talking yet, but if he's anything like me, DB and DF, there'll be some spooky goings on I'm sure.

We have what I like to think of as premonitions, my dad and I will often get funny flutterings just before hearing bad news. We definitely have an affinity with the paranormal.

DB woke up one night screaming and trying to tell my mum about his dream in between sobs. He said he'd watched a train on fire and lots of people died - the next day the Paddington Rail Crash happened.

Although one thing has happened with DS that we can't explain. He's named after DH's uncle who passed around 20 years ago. We were in the country where DH's family is from when he was around 6 months old and in his late uncle's house. DS was gesturing towards the mirror - not unusual - but when DH got him to the mirror, it wasn't the mirror he wanted. It was the huge family portrait next to it. DS went straight to DH's uncle in the picture and stroked his face with a big smile, there was around 10 other people in the picture. Really spooked out DH.

My cousin and her partner had been trying for a baby but decided to stop when they found out my gran had terminal cancer as they didn't want to get pregnant for my gran not to be here long enough to meet the baby. My cousins little girl was born 2 years after my gran died and when she was about 2 she started telling everyone that granny Betty is a star in the sky. She also told my cousin and aunt how granny Betty lived on the 19th floor of the flats and it was 19d (flat number). No one had ever told her what floor my gran lived on or her flat number and I recently had her over to stay (she's 6 now) and she was telling me how she remembers my big birthday where I had the pretty white dress on and she was in her mums tummy. As far as i know, she's ever seen photos from my 18th birthday party where I wore a white dress and her mum was pregnant with her.

YellowCrocus · 13/02/2017 21:35

It's not a great idea to read this thread when in the house alone! DD once said 'I love you so much, I want to eat your face'. I think she meant it well. Confused

AllFurCoatNoKnickera · 13/02/2017 21:44

Also (actually maybe DS's creepiness is coming way before he can speak!), his great granny passed away when he was around 10 days old, he'd met her a few days previous to her passing away.

She had died at dinner time, but DH hadn't been told until the morning because MIL wanted to tell the grandchildren face to face and by the time stuff had been confirmed and ambulances etc had left it was quite late.

We took a picture of DS that night looking spectacularly sad (sounds strange but he's always been quite expressive and was generally a really content and happy baby) and we'd sent it to MIL. The picture had been taken about 15 minutes after she'd died. MIL didn't even know at that point.

hookiewookie29 · 13/02/2017 21:45

EXHusbands daughter told me, at the age of three, that when she was with her other Mummy, a long time ago, she also had two brothers. But Mummy couldn't afford to feed them all, so she stabbed and killed the brothers but kept her......

Butttons · 13/02/2017 22:31

Oh god why did I start reading these? I'll never sleep tonight.....

We hadn't been in our current (quite old) house for long and DC2 woke up crying in the night. I went in her room and she said "the little girl is coming". Sends shivers up my spine every time I think of it....

Kyyria · 13/02/2017 22:37

DD1 (4.3) said yesterday "Mummy, I'm going to eat you and then it's just me and Daddy".

persianpeach · 13/02/2017 22:58

My DD who is now 18 got hold of my pin cushion and stuck pins in her Barbie dolls she was only about 3/4 years old! How did she know about voodoo??!!

brianna5 · 13/02/2017 23:06

Dd1 did say a lot when she was 2 - 3yrs. Told me some stories about her other mummy like she didn't have enough money to feed all of them but still loved her. And how her other daddy never loved her and her other mummy till he killed them both.

And she found me whilst looking for her other mummy in the rain looking all alone and thought she'll put a smile on my face instead and chose me 😶 still freaks me out

Also told me once at 2 - 3 when I was really cross with her and told her off. Mummy Pls don't be cross with me as my other mummy was also cross with me the day we died😧

My dad passed away before she was born and mentioned how a little boy called ( my dads name) always came into her room at bed time to ask everyone was okay.

She's much older now and doesn't remember anything. She is just like my dad. Caring, loving, free spirited and always smiling. Okay freaked out typing this

Robstersgirl · 13/02/2017 23:07

'Mum, you know Shobi?'
'No, who's Shobi?'
'I used to be Shobi before I came to you, my old mummy didn't like me and she killed me and then I came to you' Confused

Chamonix1 · 13/02/2017 23:20

Not good late night reading material.

jamesk0001 · 13/02/2017 23:41

I was working away from my family and living in an old farmhouse (from the 1790's) and working late in to the morning to get some stuff ready for a meeting. The room got really cold and I turned to the large mirror behind me on the wall and saw a fleeting image of a dead farm girl. There was also a painting on the wall of a young girl with the name "Sarah" engraved on the frame and the girl looked just like the picture. I was terrified!

This was before mobile phones and I hadn't mentioned it to anyone ('cause they would think I was mad).

I hadn't been home for 5 minutes when DD (5) came running up to me and looked me right in the eye and laughed "Sarah gave you such a good fright in the mirror the other morning!!!"

I nearly wet myself!
