Please has anyone got any ideas on what to call our Company?

Its dental related but we want to get across that we have values such as being open and honest, spending time with patients, explaining things in plain english rather than baffling people with anatomy etc etc and that its a fresh approach (i.e: patient rather than clinician focused).

Sorry if this is not allowed but saw a very similar post a few days ago and there were some fabulous ideas!!

I hate to put a dampener on people's creativity, but I'd expect a dentist to be called Smith and Brown Dental Practitioners or something similar. The 'Funky Monkey' style names are representative of a childminder or nursery. Those catchy names just don't project professionalism when applied to the medical profession.

This is the issue Drivingmebonkers- 'fun' names don't reflect the business.

We want something really that has connotations of trust and honesty, being honest and open, providing excellent value and high skills. Thats why so many practices have names that are related to nature - apples, trees etc. Its finding one that hasn't been taken!

Sorry saw you didn't want fun names after I posted.
I don't think fun names mean no trust memorable - so many dental practice names so bland and forgetful

Can you use where you live in the name? I.e. [x] dental?? Makes it easy for people to google

Naming and branding sounds easy but probably isn't something you should leave to the internet (as some of these suggestions prove.) It's not just a case of stumbling over a name you like. You need to do legal searches and checks, consider how it works online, as a search term, a social handle etc etc and look at how your visual branding fits with the naming. A branding agency will know what works and what doesn't and how to be distinctive for all the right reasons. (They'll also be able to advise how wise it is to create a brand name for a holding company that's different to your business name...)

Put it t this way, I wouldn't trust my dental health to an online message board. You shouldn't trust your brand to one.
