To think this ruins my life?

I have emetophobia and it honestly ruins my life. My DD was sick at nursery today and I have been on the verge of a melt down since. My chest is pounding and I am jittery with nerves.
Has anyone here had a phobia and been cured?
I have searched on line, had some hypnotherapy before but still am no better. It's ruining my life.

PrettyThings - I had my first blood induced seizure aged 4 at the ballet and my dad also has them though much more rarely ( brain scans etc obvs have been done to check for problems to no avail) so i don't think i had a reason - maybe i picked it up from my dad, maybe its an unknown disorder but ...couldnt say

Vasovagal syncope in response to a trigger is all I've been told.

Well there was no more sickness from my DD and I am dropping her to my mums shortly so I can go to work. I didn't sleep great though from worry and I think my OH was starting to get slightly irritated by the "are you feeling okay?" Questions..
I really like my hypnotherapist, however I agree it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I have raised concerns with him before but he just said we are close and sometimes it takes time. Considering contacting a guy on the link User gave and maybe try someone new.
