I won a free family photo session with a local photographer. She said that she will put the pics on her website, instagram and facebook pages. is there any potential danger in this or am too paranoid?

We made a choice not to post our kids photos publically until they are old enough to decide for themselves. We have a few odd pics on a locked down fb but I never use my kids pics as headers or profile pics. We also don't allow school to put them on the public website (although the locked down class specific ones I don't mind)

We made this decision because once something goes into the public domain it's virtually impossible to recall. I want them to be able to control what they put out there. My eldest is high school age and we gave her the choice when we filled in the forms.

There is no worry of kidnapping or anything I just want to keep their privacy for them.

The creepy people might see your kids while they are out in RL at any time. Are you going to stay inside just in case?
