I must say this eleventy billion times a day.

Today she landed on the radiator. Two lacerations, a suspected broken toe (it wasn't, thank god) and a damaged tendon. Blood EVERYWHERE. Fortunately only a couple of hours at A&E (god bless the NHS).

She's thrilled to have crutches and a huge bandage. I am frazzled.

Anyone else want to share their 'I told you not to' moments to cheer me up?

told dd to stop messing at the top of the stairs because she would fall down them, guess what happened moments later!
We're not very good with stairs as we've both fell down every set in all the houses we've lived in!

DD1 is careful. Never climbed and very cautious. She was three before going round the soft play herself FFS!
DD2 loves climbing, running and jumping from heights. She climbed onto a chair, then onto a window sill then fell. She snappeder arm and it's healed terrible. We find out next month wether they are going to rebreak it. She was 19 months! The morning after doing it we got called to the hospital and she was running around playing chase. She hasn't changed at all.

Telling ds1, then about 2 1/2 to not scoot about in the wheeled toy box as it might tip over. It tipped over, cue massive nosebleed from nutting the side of his cot. What does he do the following day? The exact same thing! I did warn him. He also managed to almost rip one of our lounge curtains down due to climbing up the sofa to prance about on the windowsill. He got tangled up, started falling. I did catch him, in time to hear the plonk plonk plonk of the curtain hooks snapping. He actually hadn't hurt himself for once and was most put out that I was more concerned for the curtain than his dented dignity!
