DS1 starts school at 8.50, we got there at 8.51 and were told we had to sign in at the office. AIBU to think that we weren't actually late?

Oi! Wright stuff! There are actually interesting and important threads on here about the legalities of burying someone's ashes, women being asked inappropriate questions in job interviews, and how ideas of "gender fluidity" are actually re-enforcing gender stereotypes and harming women….. if you wanna pinch ideas there are better ones on here..

Who are the weirdos who watch that programme? God, it is utter drivel. The presenter has a really disingenuous lopsided "smile". Urgh

I have seen it whilst flicking. To clarify.

What time does school actually start? Many areas have staggered school starts. One school 8:45 till 3pm, another 9 till 3:15 (and 5 min intervals for other schools in between)

So, perhaps you're actually meant to be there at 8:45! There is 5mins leeway (8:50) before the late register kicks in!

That's my assumption tbh.
