Just finished our upstairs one.. tiny but finally fully tiled. Grey on two walls (opposing) and off white the other two. Can't take a decent pic !

And love the tiles liz.

Can't wait until we can decorate our bathroom it's so grotty and cold. Planning on under floor heating.

I also can't wait until we don't have to have a potty in there too!!

LBOCS2 · 05/02/2017 00:54

Um. I can't shut the loo lid because a couple of weeks ago this happened Blush

LBOCS2 · 05/02/2017 00:54

That looks like a hotel bathroom wandering, so sleek and clean!

My bathroom. Takes idea of the smallest room in the house overly literally, I feel.

wombatting, not wandering!

Ferrisday · 05/02/2017 09:53

Anyone started a kitchen thread yet?!

liz70 · 05/02/2017 10:00

Our bathroom is rather compact too, LBO. Our slipper bath is the shorter length version to fit in. And no separate shower cubicle here.

liz70 · 05/02/2017 10:05

"Bugger. Pic."

OMG, does that not drive you spare? I'd have gone straight to B&Q or someplace similar and bought a cheap plastic lid and seat, at least till we could decide on something better.

What did you drop on it?

bigmouthstrikesagain · 05/02/2017 10:17

Bathroom nearly complete (just need the panel on the bath)

Has anyone else got a shower over bath with a bloody great window running down the side of the bath?

I have obscured glass but you can still make out shapes, especially if the light is on, so I have to use a blind and then they go all mouldy within a few weeks.

HELP!!!

KathArtic · 05/02/2017 10:44

@Ferrisday I like your bathmat!

downwardfacingdog · 05/02/2017 10:48

@ferris I love yours.

Doilooklikeatourist · 05/02/2017 10:53

Our ensuite needs redoing
We have no window , so it's dark
There's a shower curtain ( which I hate )
And 2 different sorts of white tiles ( which I hate )
I need a bit of a financial windfall 😀

@running Where did you get those floor tiles? They are gorgeous!

Flixybelle · 05/02/2017 11:00

Love that Utility/bathroom I have just pinned it. Its exactly what I need in the house we are buying. Hope you don't mind me stealing your ideas.

dudsville · 05/02/2017 11:01

Runningtogetskinny, I love yours. I need inspiration as we have two bathrooms to update (and a tiny downstairs loo) and I struggle in a way I haven't with the rest of the house. I did a (previous house) bathroom up and it looked all very swish and "hotel" but it felt cold to me. I like your use of colour. Also a few of you have interesting floor tiles - I'll take notes on that too!

StatisticallyChallenged · 05/02/2017 11:05

They're not up in the pictures but I normally have voiles on our windows, just very simple ones so it doesn't look dated. Our window is at the end of the bath but it's old and wooden and gets soaked. The voile gets wet every day but has never gone mouldy and it protects the window too

butterfly990 · 05/02/2017 11:06

Happy
I googled this. It looks a little odd but this would distort any shapes.

Alternatively you could ring this company and ask their advise.

You're welcome to steal it flixybelle, I struggled to find pictures of that sort of thing so we just designed our own.

happypoobum · 05/02/2017 11:58

Thanks everyone - in case anyone else has this problem - I have found this

www.tradeblinds.co.uk/pvc-waterproof_roller-blinds-c

I will see if they fit the fittings I already have in place (DIY challenged) and order. Hopefully problem solved. Then I just have to repaint it all as there are gross mouldy bits on the walls due to kids never opening windows - GRRRR!
